If you were asked to talk about the Christmas Story, you would probably come up with the names of Mary, Joseph and Jesus. But have you taken the time to think about those names as more than ‘characters’ in a story? Sometimes it becomes so familiar we forget that it really happened and there were real people involved. This year for our Women’s Christmas Tea we will consider the reality of the Christmas Story. We will especially focus on the life of Mary, a young woman betrothed to Joseph. Mary was eagerly anticipating the plans and preparations of the next year, leading up to her marriage. Soon after their betrothal, Mary was surprised by a very unusual visitor, an angel. Her life would never be the same.
Join us for our annual Women's Christmas Tea on December 13th from 2-4pm at Living Hope Church to enjoy holiday treats and drinks as we focus our minds and hearts on the Christmas Story.
