Operation Christmas Child
It's that time of year again! We are collecting shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Operation Christmas Child is a program to provide gifts to children in 3rd world countries. We will have boxes and labels at church for anyone who wishes to pack a shoebox. Collection will be through November 16, and each shoe box should have $10 to cover shipping (cash, check, or online). If you are not able to drop it off at church by then, contact Jackie Borseth (815-262-6369) to arrange a date and time between November 16-19.
Salvation Army Donations:
In light of the recent shut down of the government, many organizations are running very low in supplies to help those in need. So, throughout the month of November, we will take food donations for the salvation army. Here is information for items most needed. For more questions and details, contact Opal Kasten at: opalkasten@yahoo.com (mailto:opalkasten@yahoo.com)
